Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you create a Deeplitic workspace, install the tracking script on a site you control, or call the Deeplitic API.

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating a Deeplitic account, installing the tracking script, or using the Deeplitic API or dashboard, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What Deeplitic provides

Deeplitic provides a cookieless web analytics service: a browser tracking script, a collection API, aggregate reporting, and a dashboard, as described in our product pages. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis; specific uptime or support commitments are only binding where set out in a signed order form or separate service-level agreement.

3. Your responsibilities

  • You may only install the tracking script on websites and properties you own or are authorized to measure.
  • You are responsible for your own site’s privacy notice, and for confirming that your use of Deeplitic, together with any other tracking technology on your site, is lawful in your jurisdiction.
  • You must keep your site API keys confidential and rotate them if you suspect they have been exposed.
  • You must not use the service to collect data you know to be inaccurate, or to attempt to re-identify visitors from aggregate or hashed data.
  • You must not use the collection API or dashboard to send content that is unlawful, infringing, or that attempts to circumvent the rate limits or origin checks described in our documentation.

4. Data ownership and processing role

As between you and Deeplitic, you own the analytics data collected through your sites. Deeplitic processes that data as a data processor on your behalf, as described in our Privacy Policy. Where required, a separate data processing agreement governs the details of that relationship.

5. Fair use and rate limits

The collection API applies origin checks and reasonable rate limits per site to protect the service for all customers. We may throttle or reject traffic that we reasonably believe is abusive, fraudulent, or not attributable to genuine website visitors.

6. Service changes and availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including the free tier, with reasonable notice where practical. We may suspend access immediately if we reasonably believe your use of the service violates these terms or creates risk or liability for Deeplitic or other customers.

7. Fees

Any fees, billing cycle, and plan limits are as described at checkout or in your order form. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or explicitly stated otherwise.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deeplitic disclaims all implied warranties, and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for GDPR obligations that fall to Deeplitic as a processor.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We will delete or anonymize your account and analytics data within a reasonable period after termination, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or security purposes.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Deeplitic is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection or data-protection rights you have under the law of your own country of residence.
